We at phpLinkDropper know the importance of search engine placement and that's why we have added the powerful feature of Search Engine Friendly URL's to your links website. Using MOD REWRITE, phpLinkDropper will create submission url's that contain the title of the submission as well as meta information including the meta descriptions.
- Thumbnails/Images for submitted items
phpLinkDroppers allows for an image/thumbnail to be displayed with each item submitted. The webmaster also has the ability to set a default thumbnail to be displayed if an item is submitted without a thumbnail.
- Ratio System and Pre-Approved Accounts
You can either make an account a pre-approved account or even implement a ratio system so that a website has to send a minimum amount of visitors and/or minimum in/out ratio before their submission can go live right away
- Framed Content
This feature allows content on your website to be shown in a framed window. Once a visitor clicks on a submitted link, the page will be opened in a new window and on the top portion will be a customizable HTML frame.
- 5 star AND +/- rating system
phpLinkDropper has incorporated both a 5-star rating system AND plus/minus system that allows visitors to your website to rate the items they view.
- Visitors Can Report Content
Visitors to your website (if framed content is activated) will be able to report a link submission for content. All reported content will show up in the Administration Control Panel.
- Integrated User/ Member System (w/ Cookies!)
phpLinkDropper allows you to offer memberships to your website's visitors. Member's passwords are encrypted using MD5 technology. When logged in, member's can track their submissions they've sent to your website, track traffic from their domain names, and even earn credits for their account.
- User Domain Tracking/Stats
A member has the ability to add domains to websites they currently own to their accounts and phpLinkDropper will track all traffic sent from those domains to the website. This comes in very handy with the Ratio System..
- Comment System
Visitors to your website can add their own comments to specific items they've viewed and they will be displayed on the item's comment page. The Administrator has the option of allowing EVERYONE the ability to comment or just MEMBERS. (Comment feature can be turned on/off)

- Submission Scheduler / Publishing Queue
While adding a new item to your website, you are given the option to set a publish date. This allows the webmaster to schedule items to be automatically published at a later date to make it seem like an always updating website.
- Online User Tracking
Via the administrative control panel, the webmaster can see the current active users on their website, which page they are currently viewed, how many page views for their visit and the amount of time since their last action. This feature also allows phpLinkDropper to allow webmasters to view the number of unique visitors in the past 24 hour period along with the average number of pageviews per visit.
- User Groups
The webmaster has the ability to create different user groups with their own submission criteria to be met before an item gets published.
- Traffic Skimming
The webmaster has the option to "skim" traffic to a specified URL after a certain percentage of clicks on an item.
- Grab Image/Thumbnail from remote URL
When adding an item, either by the webmaster or a visitor, a URL to the image can be specified and the script will go out and grab the image and copy it to the server. A very nice time-saving feature.
- Ban IP Addresses from accessing your website and/or submitting content
phpLinkDropper allows you to ban ip addresses from accessing your website and/or submitting content. If a banned IP address tries to access your website, you also have the option to display a message to the banned ip addresses (i.e. Website Down for Construction) or even leave it blank and that's all the person would see. IP Addresses that are on the "no submission" list will not be given the option top submit content. IP tracking has been added to all submissions, so with just the click of a button in the admin control panel you can ban the ip of the annoying spammer. You can also manually add and delete IP addresses from the banned list.
- Ban content from specific URLs
phpLinkDropper will also allow you to disallow content from specific URLs. Similar to the Banning of IP Addresses, with the click of a button you can ban a URL and also manually add and delete URLs from the banned list.
- Text and Image Plug Manager
With phpLinkDropper's built-in Plug Manager, you can add content to your website that will gain featured exposure. Along with being able to specify the image and/or text to be linked, you can also specify when a plug campaign will start and end.
- Ability to Add Staff to Help Manage Your Website
phpLinkDropper allows you to create staff accounts to allow users to help you manage your website. When creating staff accounts you can set the username, password and even security settings for each account. Once created, a staff member logs into a secure password protected staff area. From here the staff member will be able to see all the areas they are allowed to manage, including editing and deleting items and accepting and rejecting submissions.
