Adds a "My Webcam" block to your members profile page that will allow them to broadcast live video from their web cams directly to their profile page!


No expensive server software required!
No 3rd parties to rely on (or pay) to host your files or to supply you with bandwidth.*
None of your servers bandwidth is used to stream the video!
No special software for your members to install.. the only requirement is Flash Player v10 (or newer)

Using the new peer to peer technology built into Flash player 10, you are now able to provide your members with live streaming video without the giant bandwidth hit that you would normally take when streaming video.
The bandwidth used to stream the video is shared among your members who are watching and/or broadcasting the streams.. not your servers bandwidth!

Installation:
1- Head over to Adobe's site and get a free "Developer's Key". (CLICK HERE to go there now)

2- Download Profile Cams v1.3
3- Install Profile Cams v1.3

--->Unzip the download.
--->Upload the contents found in the 'upload' folder to your sites root directory.
--->When finished, log into your admin panel. Navigate to EXTENTIONS --> PRODUCT -- IMPORT PRODUCT
--->In the 'Manual Install' section click "install" next to the profile cams product.

4- Profile Cams setup
--->(We should still be in the admin panel) Navigate to MODULES--> PROFILECAMS --> MANAGE
---> Enter the 'developer url' and 'developer key' that you received from Adobe.
---> Enter your Profile Cams license. (If you don't have one just enter the word FREE).
---> Click "Save"

If you entered your information correct you should be all set!

**The free version of this mod does NOT contain sound and the video only streams at 7 frames per second.
The full version license can be purchased for $10 (per domain).
The full version DOES include sound, and has no limitation on frames per second.
